Press release:
SXSW 2019: Film Lineup and Cinapse Coverage
The weird and wonderful festival returns March 8th–16th
News team, asssembleeeee! Yep, it’s that time of year again when the Cinapse team charges their mobile battery packs and fuels themselves with free tacos, Topo Chico, and Lone Star as they make their way around Austin, TX, as our weird little (not so little these days) gem of a town is consumed by SXSW. While some come for all manner of things Interactive, Educational, or Musical, you know our heart lies with film, and as such we’ll be bringing you instant reactions over social media (follow @CinapseNews), interviews, and full review coverage throughout the fest. Click our SXSW tag to see all content. Expect a ‘Most Anticipated’ post from the team in the next few days. For now, feast your eyes on this year’s lineup.
Feature films in the SXSW lineup screen in the following categories: Narrative Feature Competition; Documentary Feature Competition; Headliners; Narrative Spotlight; Documentary Spotlight; Visions; Midnighters; 24 Beats Per Second; Global; Festival Favorites; and Special Events. The Episodic program consists of Episodic Premieres and the Episodic Pilot Competition.
