Marshall’s photography has shaped and influenced how we collectively think about some of the greatest musicians of all time: Jimi Hendrix burning his guitar at Monterey, Johnny Cash flipping off the camera at San Quinton Prison, Janis Joplin with a bottle of Southern Comfort and The Beatles walking off the field of their last show—these iconic images were all created by Jim Marshall.
