"Jazz Festival" named by American Photo to its list  of "Best Photography Books Fall 2016."

Reel Art Press is proud to present Jazz Festival: Jim Marshall, a perfect tribute to the legendary photographer.

Never-before-seen 1960s photographic work by legendary San Francisco rock and roll photographer Jim Marshall is featured in “The Haight: Love, Rock, and Revolution,” an exhibit opening Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. The show runs through May at the school’s Reva and David Logan Gallery of Documentary Photography at North Gate Hall, located on campus near the intersection of Hearst and Euclid avenues. It is free and open to the public.

A selection of never-before-seen photographs of Johnny Cash from the final book developed with Jim Marshall, Pocket Cash (Chronicle Books, Fall 2010), were featured in exhibitions at JMP LLC's authorized galleries in San Francisco, New York and London.

This gorgeous collection of photographs (most of them black and white), by one of the pioneers of rock photography, documents the epicenter of the countercultural revolution: San Francisco's Haight District in the mid- to late-1960s.
